  • Key Powers: Ravaging Flame, Penance Stare.
  • One of the few characters (Ghost Rider, Mr. Fantastic) whose regular (not a power) melee attacks can normally affect more than one target.

Powers: (at Skill Level 10)
  • Chain Flechette (16 Skill Points, 25 Energy)
    • Rake chains together and break them into tiny pieces. 100% chance of a critical hit against airborne enemies.
    • 85-94 Fire Damage, 264 Knockback
  • Chains of Retribution (11 Skill Points, 30 Energy)
    • Spins and swings chains around, dealing radial damage. Pops up enemies if fully charged.
    • 54-60 Fire Damage, Chargeable (x2 damage and popup)
  • Damnation (9 Skill Points, 25 Energy)
    • Breathe fire on enemies. Enemies run in confusion and can ignite other foes close to them.
    • 153-169 Fire Damage.
    • Comments:
      • This is a short-range flamethrower-like burst that can be quite hard to use against enemies because they tend to move around laterally quite often.
      • Does not seem to work on some static objects.
  • Fear (16 Skill Points, 92 Energy, 80 seconds)
    • Terrifies nearby enemies, decreasing their defenses and causing them to run in fear.
    • +36% damage to terrified foes.
  • Fiendish Chains (14 Skill Points, 23 Energy)
    • Uses chains to fling an enemy into the air. Charge longer to increase the distance the enemy will soar.
    • 139-154 Physical Damage
    • Comment:
      • Since the visible area is quite small, there's little point in charging this power for a long time. Against non-bosses it just delays when you get to put them down. Against bosses, you probably can't throw them anyway.
  • Penance Stare (12 Skill Points, 92 Energy, 80 seconds)
    • Scares enemies into feeling remorse for the sins they've committed. For a time, any damage inflicted on them will come back as Energy for Ghost Rider. Works on bosses.
    • Restores Energy for Ghost Rider equal to 24% Damage inflicted.
    • Comment:
      • This power plus a strong attack will potentially keep Ghost Rider at high energy levels all the time. Seems to work on bosses. Probably not worth it to use on non-bosses since you may not get back your Energy investment before the creature is destroyed.
  • Ravaging Flame (16 Skill Points, 23 Energy)
    • Spontaneously combust enemy. Enemies are ignited if fully charged.
    • 139-154 Fire Damage, Chargeable (x2 damage and +65-72 burning damage)
    • Comments:
      • This power does not have to travel to the enemy, but starts right at the enemy. You can therefore use it from behind cover and enemies cannot avoid it no matter how quickly they are moving.
      • Against objects, it may not work until the object is targeted. You can target an object (have the targeting halo underneath them) but first attacking them in some other way, such was with a regular melee attack.
      • At higher levels, this power becomes your boss-killer. You don't have to target the power, just get into range and face the right direction. You can't miss since targets can't move out of the way. And it has one of the highest levels of damage; add on Starbolt's Flame or the White Ring of the Mandarin and you can do over 500 damage  fully charged. He can take out Doctor Doom on Normal difficulty (and scaled for a level 40 party) with disappointing ease.
  • Vengeance (Xtreme)
    • Steal life from each enemy and distributes it among party members.
    • 68-75 Health stolen from each enemy.
