This post is part of our series of tips for Prey by Arkane Studios. It's not meant to be a comprehensive walkthrough filled with boring common-sense or easily-discovered points of interest, but things that might be tricky or that are easily overlooked.
Overall there are few to no useful environmental damage locations in this area, but by the time you get here you probably have come across enough Weapon Upgrade Kits. The Shotgun is very good to upgrade and works very well in tandem with a Disruptor Stun Gun. From the Arboretum you can get a quest to find a unique version of the Silenced Pistol, and that is available in this area too. If you have found the appropriate Fabricator Plan, Weapon Upgrade Kits are also cheap to make.
Chef
- There's a clue about his identity in what he says over the speaker when you first enter this area, if you also saved V-090655-13 in Psychotronics and spoke with him a few times afterwards to exhaust his conversation.
- In the freezer it's quite easy to miss the bloody box that can be searched, near the Eel Scraps.
- It's more interesting to complete all his quests before doing the quest that Danielle Sho gives you. He ends up in the Bridge area, in an Escape Pod.
Crew Cabins B
- Danielle Sho's missing Transcribe has information on where her terminal password is located. She has a note in her room about where her missing Transcribe is located.
Executive Suites
- Alex Yu's Quarters - If you are stuck looking for the Escape Pod Key, move things around.
Yellow Tulip
- There is a Maintenance Access Corridor leading to the power junction. Strangely, you may not be able to crawl into the hatch easily. Try turning at an angle and moving forward. It's not really clear what is blocking your way.
