In Marvel's Avengers, some characters can break barriers such as doors and cracked walls when there is a special icon indicating they can be broken. You are taught to do this with Thor, Kamala, and Hulk.
But other characters cannot: Black Widow, Captain America, and Iron Man for example.
- Hack:
- If the door has a terminal with the hacking icon, some characters like Black Widow and Iron Man can hack it.
- Ping:
- If you are playing solo and an AI character has the required attack or skill, "Ping" it to get a companion to use it.
- To use Ping, aim at something. You will often see "Ping" appear, along with the required keypress. For PC, this is typically the down-arrow key.
- For hacking terminals, get closer till you see the hacking icon appear then aim at it and Ping, even if you don't see the Ping option appear.
- Hulkbuster:
- Iron Man's Hulkbuster ultimate has a heavy attack that can break a door for Ironman.
