VR Review - Crow: The Legend

VR Review: Crow: The Legend by Baobab Studios

Played with Oculus Quest 2.

Crow: The Legend is a free short VR movie that presents a parable about how the Crow came to have black feathers. Surprisingly it features some notable voices like Oprah Winfrey and Constance Wu. And it's free to download!

You can watch it seated, but ideally you will be able to at least stand and look around because sometimes the action moves behind you, and you cannot use the controllers to turn around.
During the movie, you will need to wave your hands a bit and that is basically all the player engagement required. This sounds terribly boring, but what you do and see in the VR experience is really quite delightful.

Crow: The Legend is an animated movie with high-quality movie-theatre visuals. I don't feel the VR immersion is necessary and doesn't particularly add to experiencing the story, but nevertheless it is a delightful movie for all ages.
If you like Pixar or Disney animated stories, you will certainly love Crow.
