In Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, The Legend of Dead Kel DLC, there are unmarked doors that you have to spot yourself -- they will not show on your map automatically even if you have the maximum Detect Hidden skill. These doors have purplish energy swirls. Switch to Reckoning Mode and the option to interact with them and Open the way will be available. When all connecting doors to an area are opened, that area will be added to the map; chests in those areas will still not appear on your map.
