Reina's achievement "I'll Stand In The Sky" is described as "Attack an airborne monster for 30 seconds as Reina".
It can be helpful to equip gear with defensive main stats like Max HP Up or Defense Up.
It definitely sounds like you need to be in the air for 30 seconds but this is extremely hard to do since even if you can manage this, a Break on the target generally means they will fall and possibly die from the fall.
What I found was Reina did NOT need to be in the air for 30 seconds without touching the ground.
Here's how I did it "easily" and what I observed:
- Target: Sudden Mission boss Aela, the Wings of Collapse.
- Go up the slopes because that boss likes to stay in the air and is actually quite hard to drop onto the ground as it recovers Break very quickly.
- Attack the boss when it gets close.
- You can be airborne if you like but it's apparently not necessary. You can even fall to the ground, mount up, and get back up on the slopes during the fight.
- Stay high so the boss doesn't land (this may or may not be important when the enemy is a harpy but they can theoretically fall to the ground under certain circumstances).
- You don't need to constantly attack the boss, just survive until the achievement pops.
It can be helpful to equip gear with defensive main stats like Max HP Up or Defense Up.
So the achievement looks like it will trigger if you remain in combat with an enemy and you both survive for 30+ seconds and the enemy stays airborne (not the ailment, just in the air).
CAVEAT: These are just my observations on my attempt where the achievement triggered. I'm not entirely sure on what the actual factors are.
If the achievement doesn't pop for you, this boss and location is great for at least trying to stay airborne for 30+ seconds:
- Hit Aela at least once (probably important).
- Then just try to stay in the air even if you don't hit it.
- You can try chaining this way:
- Air Dash attack - normal attack - normal attack - repeat
- Air Dash is unlocked by her Master Skill
- Dash attack does not count toward the normal attack combo.
- The third attack in your normal attack chain is a PLUNGE so don't do that.
- To recover height, use one of your skills when the boss is close. That will zoom you up to the boss.
