Disney Dreamlight Valley - Storage
This is part of our series of beginner tips for Disney Dreamlight Valley. We won't do a hand-holding walkthrough here, but instead consider approaches that might be unusual or overlooked.
Storage
- Store things OUTSIDE your house.
- Crafting and Cooking will look at your Storage no matter where it is.
- Put storage boxes near your Fruit lanes and Gardening plots so you can manage your food storage there instead of running back to a central storage area.
- Craft lots of Small Chests
- The materials are plentiful and they are useful. You can place them outside of your house, and drag them around to quickly move them anywhere in the game world you need.
- If you are stuck without one, just drop stuff on the ground. They won't disappear but you might have trouble finding them.
- Cache some of Remy's ingredients so you don't have to run into Chez Remy repeatedly
- Shop Scrooge's Store
- Sometimes a Storage furniture item will be available for sale. They can have a lot of storage space and are cheaply priced (see slides below for example).
- Some do not work the same way as crafted Chests -- their storage space might be the same as your House Storage as well as any instances of the storage you have placed: Any instance of the storage furniture will access the same items stored in any of them.
- This can be handy depending on what you are storing, so that no matter where you are, you can put the same type of thing into the same storage box.
- Others such as Wardrobes are independent storage like the chests you can craft.
